This event is a super Spring get together of straw workers and we very much hope you would like to join us.
At Bishop Burton College near Beverley, which is a wonderful place to hold our event, friendly, comfortable and peaceful.
The work rooms we have are actually part of the floristry department and are spacious and light.
We are planning the event with daytime workshops and evening activities, with plenty of plaiting involved as well as other techniques, and all inspired by the beautiful beaches and sea of the nearby Yorkshire coast.
The event is residential, all bedrooms are single en-suite, with a non-resident’s. Partners are welcome to come, and a non-participants price will be on the booking form too.
The booking form will be sent out at the end of December but in the meantime, it would be very helpful for the organisers to know of firm interest. So to help in our planning please let us know if you are hoping to come by replying to this email – strawinthenorth@strawcraftsmen.co.uk
